A wall picture stays the easiest wall decor to change, and the cheapest per square metre of wall covered. Every print is made to order in our workshop in Fayence, on 270 g photo paper with a semi-matte finish.
Choosing your living room poster
Which living room poster should you choose?
The living room takes very different registers, and the mood of the room depends on it:
- Colourful living room decor: bright flat colour, graphic shapes, for a wall that sets the tone.
- Modern wall poster: clean lines, minimalism, a restrained palette.
- Vintage poster: old typography, advertisements, faded tones.
- Photography or illustration: landscape, architecture, botanical, according to the world already in place.
- Trompe-l'oeil: a false window, a false bookcase, a perspective that enlarges the room.
- Abstraction and contemporary art: shapes, textures, contrast, for a living room already full of furniture.

Where should you hang a living room poster?
- Above the sofa: the large format that structures the whole wall.
- Dining room: a piece in harmony with the table, often more restrained.
- Bathroom: a compact size, a subject that stands the damp of the room visually, not materially.
- Entrance hallway: a series that announces the tone of the living room without repeating it.
- Hair salon: a graphic or portrait register, made for a place people pass through.
A tip: in a living room the poster is looked at from a distance, from the sofa. Too fine a pattern becomes illegible at three metres.
Which size for a living room poster?
- 50x70 or 70x100 for a sofa wall, which needs a strong presence.
- 30x40 for a secondary wall or a composition of several posters.
- 21x30 for a hallway or a small space between two windows.
- The 100x140 polyptych for an empty wall, in panels, when a single poster would not be enough.
Poster, print or picture: what is the difference?
All three words mean the same thing here: a printed image that you hang on the wall. We say poster because we print on photo paper, never on canvas. The same image is also available on a metal plate, in several sizes.
- With frame: black, white or light oak, assembled and ready to hang.
- Without frame: the sheet alone, to slide into the frame you already have.
