Choosing your personalised poster
Which personalised poster should you choose?
It all starts with your file. Our personalised posters can be built several ways:
- Personalised photo poster: one image, cropped to the print format.
- Photo collage poster: several photos on a single sheet.
- Personalised family poster: names, dates, a layout to fill in.
- Personalised couple poster: two names, a date, a place.
- Personalised birthday poster: the year, the name, one big number.
- Personalised dog or cat poster: a portrait of your animal.
- Wedding sign: seating plan, welcome, menu.
The configurator shows the exact result before you order, cropping and white margin included.
Which photo for a personalised poster?
- The original file, not a screenshot or an image saved from social media.
- The longest side above 2,000 pixels for a 30x40, 3,500 for a 50x70.
- A wide crop: the print format trims a little at the edges.
- Clear light: a dark photo stays dark once printed.
Tip: a resolution check runs before printing. A file too small for the size ordered is refused rather than delivered blurred.
Where to hang personalised wall decor?
- Living room: one large format above the sofa, on its own.
- Bedroom: a name above the bed, or a couple's date.
- Hallway: a family collage, the first thing anyone sees.
- Corridor: three personalised posters in the same format, in a line.
- Office: a travel photo, printed large, behind the screen.
Poster, print or wall picture: what is the difference?
Here the three words mean the same thing: an image you hang on the wall. We say print because we print on photo paper, never on canvas. The same image is also available on a metal plate, in several sizes.
- Framed: black, white or light oak, assembled and ready to hang.
- Unframed: the sheet alone, to slide into a frame you already own.
