Choosing your Bastia poster
Which Bastia poster should you choose?
Bastia comes in several registers, each carried by a place or a recognisable style:
- Vintage Bastia poster: seaside retro, sepia palette, old travel lettering.
- Bastia Old Port poster: moored boats, coloured façades, a Mediterranean mood.
- Bastia citadel poster: ramparts, Terra Vecchia, ochre stone.

Where should you hang a Bastia poster?

Contemporary or historic Bastia poster?
The historic register draws on the citadel, Terra Vecchia and the bell towers of Saint-Jean-Baptiste: it suits an interior that embraces stone and the old town. The contemporary register, in flat colours and simplified lines, works with a wall that is already busy or with a more neutral wall decor. On a white wall, either works; on a coloured wall, it is better to choose the more understated of the two.
Poster, print or picture: what is the difference?
All three words mean the same thing here: a printed image that you hang on the wall. We say poster because we print on photo paper, never on canvas. The same image is also available on a metal plate, in several sizes.
- With frame: black, white or light oak, assembled and ready to hang.
- Without frame: the sheet alone, to slide into the frame you already have.
