Posters Albi
Brick, reflections in the Tarn and the silhouette of Sainte-Cécile shape Albi's visual identity. An Albi poster brings a warm palette to the wall, between architecture and a river landscape. Choose a panorama, a view of the bridges or a town scene to evoke the city through framing that speaks to you.
This collection has just opened. We are adding our first posters.
Choosing an Albi poster for your interior
Which view of Albi should you favour?
Brick gives Albi a unity of colour, but viewpoints remain very different. A composition facing the Tarn leaves room for reflections; a closer architectural view emphasises masses and details. The choice depends as much on your memory of the town as on the balance you want for the wall.
- Sainte-Cécile Cathedral poster: a monumental silhouette that immediately structures the composition.
- Albi Pont Vieux poster: arches and river for an image whose lines echo each other.
- Albi on the Tarn print: facades, water and sky brought together in a more open panorama.
- Vintage Albi poster: travel-inspired graphics simplifying shapes and highlighting the brick palette.
The filters help refine the colours and orientation of your search.
Where should you place an Albi landscape?
Brick shades work easily in a living room with natural materials. An entrance can welcome an architectural detail viewed up close. In a study, a riverscape brings greater depth and a pleasing transition between the buildings' warm tones and those of the water.
Tip: avoid repeating exactly the same earthy shade across every accessory. A light contrast gives the poster more depth.
Architecture or river reflections?
An image centred on a monument clearly identifies the destination. A composition with the Tarn may feel more like a landscape and let the eye wander. For an arrangement, pair a broad view with a detail rather than two almost identical panoramas. Coherence then comes from colour and light, while each poster offers its own reading of Albi.
Poster, print or picture: what is the difference?
All three words mean the same thing here: a printed image that you hang on the wall. We say poster because we print on photo paper, never on canvas. The same image is also available on a metal plate, in several sizes.
- With frame: black, white or light oak, assembled and ready to hang.
- Without frame: the sheet alone, to slide into the frame you already have.
