Posters jazz

Saxophone, piano and musicians’ silhouettes create the visual rhythms of jazz. Our posters translate the atmosphere of a stage or the elegance of an instrument into personal images, printed to order on 270 gsm semi-matte photo paper in our workshop in Fayence.

Choosing your jazz poster and its visual rhythm

Which jazz poster should you choose?

A jazz poster can capture a single instrument, a concert scene or a play of abstract shapes. Colour, framing and the rhythm of lines give each picture its tone.

  • Saxophone poster: the curves of the bell and metallic reflections make an immediately recognisable subject, even with few details.
  • Jazz pianist print: hands, keyboard and posture tell the story of the musical gesture in a more intimate scene.
  • Abstract jazz wall art: blocks of colour, diagonals and repetition evoke rhythm without depicting a specific concert.
  • Vintage jazz poster: typography and graphic composition recall the visual world of music and its posters.

The filters on the left let you refine palette, style and mood.

Where should you hang a jazz poster?

A listening corner naturally welcomes a musical scene near records or instruments. In the living room, a graphic saxophone brings a strong curve. A study can accommodate a less narrative abstract composition. A club picture in deep colours also suits a dining corner, provided there is pleasant lighting around the frame.

Tip: let a real instrument and its poster respond to each other without placing them directly one above the other.

Instrument, stage or graphic improvisation?

An isolated instrument highlights materials and the beauty of lines. A jazz scene tells of a collective presence and distinctive light. Abstraction allows freer musical decoration based on relationships between colours. For a pair, combine two instruments or two compositions of similar intensity. The musical connection remains clear without copying an album cover or depending on the portrait of a well-known performer.

Poster, print or picture: what is the difference?

All three words mean the same thing here: a printed image that you hang on the wall. We say poster because we print on photo paper, never on canvas. The same image is also available on a metal plate, in several sizes.

  • With frame: black, white or light oak, assembled and ready to hang.
  • Without frame: the sheet alone, to slide into the frame you already have.
