Posters New Zealand

Mountains, lakes and open coastlines give New Zealand a visual presence focused on the great outdoors. A New Zealand poster prolongs the memory of a trip or the desire for a distant horizon. Choose a landscape or a map that retains the light, the reliefs and the space left to nature.

This collection has just opened. We are adding our first posters.

New Zealand poster: open landscapes for the home

Which New Zealand poster to choose?

A poster of New Zealand can be built around a mountain, a lake or a coast. The vertices create marked lines; water allows for a calmer reading, with reflections and successive shots. A road drawn in the landscape recalls the spirit of an itinerant journey. Maps are suitable when the memory is more about the journey than a single scene.

  • New Zealand lake poster: reliefs and reflections compose an image with natural colors and open planes.
  • New Zealand mountains poster: a silhouette of peaks for a more assertive wall decoration.
  • New Zealand coast poster: shores and sky give a maritime breath to the interior.
  • New Zealand map poster: the two islands form a graphic marker linked to the stages of your trip.

Palette filters help distinguish bright views from more contrasting landscapes.

Where to hang a New Zealand landscape?

A living room can accommodate a large view, placed above a piece of furniture that lets the image breathe. A room lends itself to lakes and shores, with few busy details. In an office, a map maintains a more precise presence. Tip: A light margin around a dark mountain maintains the separation between the landscape and the wall.

Keeping the scale of the great outdoors

New Zealand landscapes benefit from keeping large, simple areas in the composition. A mountain does not always require a very detailed image: its silhouette and the light are sometimes enough. For a duo, choose two views whose horizon lines interact. You can thus bring the mountains and the coastline together while maintaining a calm and coherent presentation.

Poster, print or picture: what is the difference?

All three words mean the same thing here: a printed image that you hang on the wall. We say poster because we print on photo paper, never on canvas. The same image is also available on a metal plate, in several sizes.

  • With frame: black, white or light oak, assembled and ready to hang.
  • Without frame: the sheet alone, to slide into the frame you already have.
