Posters tree
Trees as seen by our artists: silhouettes, indigo blocks, white reserves and knotted branches. Each poster is a personal reading of graphic nature, hand-printed on 220 gsm art paper with an anti-glare satin finish in our workshop in Grasse.
Choosing the right poster
Oaks, pines, birches, olive trees, bare winter trees: this section brings together the tree as subject, standing alone or in a grove, treated in photography, engraving and flat colour.
The single tree on a light background is the most ordered composition, because it works anywhere and never dates. It calls for the vertical format, which follows the trunk.
This section overlaps with botany and landscape, but is set apart by scale: here the tree is the whole subject, not a decorative element or a detail of foliage.
