Posters japandi
Japandi as seen by our artists: deep beiges, sober lines, quiet materials, the meeting of Japanese minimalism and Scandinavian wood. Each poster is a personal reading of that restraint, hand-printed on 220 gsm art paper with a satin anti-glare finish in our studio in Grasse.
Choosing the right poster
Japandi blends Japanese restraint with Scandinavian simplicity: few colours, lots of empty space, natural materials. The posters in this section follow the same rule, letting the wall breathe instead of filling it.
This is the style that demands the most discipline when hanging. A single, well centred poster with margin around it achieves more than an arrangement of several. The pale oak frame and the wide mount are part of that language.
The prints are made to order in our workshop in Grasse, on an art paper whose satin finish stays discreet, without any sheen that would contradict this restraint.
