The teenager's room as seen by our artists: football pitches and skylines, mountains, guitars and fast cars, strong enough to hold a wall, sober enough not to tire after a year. Each poster is hand-printed on 270 g photo paper with a semi-matte finish in our studio in Fayence.

Choosing your boys' teen room poster

Which poster for a teenage boy's bedroom?

Decor for a teenage boy's room covers several registers, and they do not speak to the same age or the same taste:

  • Sport and basketball: logos, courts, iconic gestures, a locker-room spirit.
  • Music and rap: sleeves, portraits of artists, a stage atmosphere.
  • Cars and motorbikes: silhouettes, mechanical curves, black and red.
  • Skate and street culture: boards, tags, assertive lettering.
  • Cinema and video games: cult film posters, manga or gaming worlds.
  • Maps and cities: stylised plans, flags, a travelling spirit.

The filters on the left narrow things down by dominant colour, by style and by mood.

Where should you hang a poster in a boy's bedroom?

  • Above the bed: a wide size, a settled subject, not visually overloaded.
  • Above the desk: a poster that motivates without distracting, sport or a graphic quotation.
  • On the free stretch of wall: a series of two or three posters from the same world.
  • Near the door: a vertical size that welcomes without getting in the way.
  • Above a shelf: a small framed piece, among the objects.

Tip: a dark wall carries bright colours better than a white one, which softens them.

Framed piece or poster alone?

  • A framed piece gives a more settled result and lasts better over time.
  • A poster alone, with no frame, suits a room that still changes its world often.
  • The 30x40 hangs alone above a desk; the 50x70 holds better above a double bed.
  • For a series, prefer three 21x30 in a line to a single large size: the set stays adaptable if tastes change.

Poster, print or picture: what is the difference?

All three words mean the same thing here: a printed image that you hang on the wall. We say poster because we print on photo paper, never on canvas. The same image is also available on a metal plate, in several sizes.

  • With frame: black, white or light oak, assembled and ready to hang.
  • Without frame: the sheet alone, to slide into the frame you already have.
