France comes through here in five faces: Provence's lavender and terracotta among olive trees, Brittany's nautical charts and dusk harbours, Corsica's villages perched above the gulf, Paris seen from its rooftops, and Marseille's port in Mediterranean light.
This is a collection that holds together by mood rather than mixture: the Mediterranean register, Provence and Corsica, in warm colours and sharp light, the Atlantic register, Brittany, more restrained, with charts and harbour scenes, the urban register, Paris and Marseille, rooftops and skylines. Two close tones sit better together than a wall that jumps from one coastline to another.
Provence's lavender and terracotta, Brittany and Marseille's blues, are saturated colours. Our 220 g/m² art paper with a satin finish keeps them true, without the glare of a glossy paper.
