Barcelona comes through here in three registers: Gaudí's modernist architecture, the vintage travel poster, and the city's minimalist silhouette. Treatments range from detailed architectural linework to graphic compositions in flat colour.
This is a city that works well in portrait orientation, because that's exactly what sets it apart: the tower reaching upward, the climbing facade, the Gothic Quarter lane rising toward the sea. Vertical formats suit it better than panoramas.
Barcelona's ochres and terracottas are warm colours, somewhere between the stone of the Sagrada Familia and the rooftops of Barceloneta. Our 220 g/m² art paper with a satin finish keeps their texture, without the smoothness of a glossy paper.
