Posters coastal
The seaside as seen by our artists: washed blues, sand, foam and sails on the horizon, coastal light all year round. Each poster is a personal reading of the open sea, hand-printed on 220 gsm art paper with a satin anti-glare finish in our studio in Grasse.
Choosing the right poster
The seaside isn't the sea: it's the edge, where the land stops. Beach huts, jetties, breakwaters, pebbles, parasols and fishermen's cottages make up this section.
This is a mood that suits small formats better than wide ones: a beach hut in 21x30 keeps all its charm, where a sea horizon would lose it. It works well in a series of three, in a bathroom or a hallway.
The palettes here are light, white, sand and pale blue. On a white wall they need a frame to stand out; on a coloured wall they hold their own alone.
