Posters Auvergne

Rounded volcanoes, pastures and lakes shape an Auvergne of hills and open spaces. Our posters play with these landscape lines to offer a personal decoration close to nature. Each image is printed to order on 270 gsm semi-matte photo paper in Fayence.

This collection has just opened. We are adding our first posters.

Choosing your Auvergne poster and its volcanic landscapes

Which Auvergne poster should you choose?

An Auvergne poster is often recognisable by rounded landforms and layered horizons. The landscape can become very graphic or retain a more painterly texture.

  • Puy de Dôme poster: a summit silhouette that organises the composition and gives the eye a landmark.
  • Chaîne des Puys print: a succession of hills for wall decoration based on the rhythm of lines.
  • Auvergne lake wall art: water and wooded slopes establish a calm atmosphere with restrained reflections.
  • Vintage Auvergne poster: clear greens, ochres and blues simplify the landscape in the spirit of travel.

The filters on the left let you choose a dominant colour, style and mood.

Where should you hang an Auvergne poster?

In a living room, a succession of volcanic hills adds depth without needing bright colours. A lake suits a bedroom where you want a peaceful picture. Graphic compositions fit well in a study or entrance because they remain clear at a glance. A landscape in soft greens naturally complements light oak or beige textiles.

Tip: measure the available space above the furniture and keep visible margins on both sides of the frame. The panorama will have more room to breathe.

Graphic volcanoes or Auvergne countryside?

Volcanoes give an Auvergne poster its structure: clear curves, planes and a horizon. The countryside introduces paths, trees and pastures, creating a closer and more narrative view. A pair can bring the two into conversation. To keep the decoration coherent, coordinate the images’ palettes rather than requiring exactly the same subject in every frame.

Poster, print or picture: what is the difference?

All three words mean the same thing here: a printed image that you hang on the wall. We say poster because we print on photo paper, never on canvas. The same image is also available on a metal plate, in several sizes.

  • With frame: black, white or light oak, assembled and ready to hang.
  • Without frame: the sheet alone, to slide into the frame you already have.
