The Valley Under the Crescent Moon

Night blue and grey ridges follow one another at the back, while the foreground hills fit together in broad bands of pine green, rust and gold. A pale river winds down between rounded boulders to the bottom of the frame. A thin crescent moon sits in a paper sky, and ferns, umbels and golden seed capsules occupy the right.
