Essen as seen by our artists: the mine's headframe, the Ruhr's steel lines and the bold flat colours of the modern poster. Each poster is a personal reading of travel, hand-printed on 270 gsm semi-matte photo paper in our workshop in Fayence.

Which Essen poster should you choose?

- On a neutral wall, colour carries the identity of the place further.
Poster, print or picture: what is the difference?
All three words mean the same thing here: a printed image that you hang on the wall. We say poster because we print on photo paper, not on canvas or metal.
- With frame: black, white, oak or walnut, assembled and ready to hang.
- Without frame: the sheet alone, to slide into the frame you already have.
