Posters antibes

Antibes as seen by our artists: the ramparts over the sea, the old town roofs and the light of the Riviera. Each poster is a personal reading of travel, hand-printed on 220 gsm art paper with an anti-glare satin finish in our workshop in Grasse.

Bien choisir votre affiche Antibes

Which Antibes poster should you choose?

Antibes comes in several registers, and they do not tell the same town:

  • Antibes old town poster: the ramparts above the sea, the packed roofs, the palms of the cove.
  • Fort Carré poster: the star-shaped fortress on its peninsula, seen from above or from afar.
  • Cap d'Antibes poster: pine woods, rocks, coves, a sea and resin palette.
  • Antibes map or town plan poster: the bay, Port Vauban, the streets in line.
  • Vintage Antibes poster: seaside advertisements, a thirties Riviera feel.
  • Black and white Antibes poster: rampart stone, shadows, contrasts without colour.

The filters on the left narrow things down by dominant colour, by style and by mood.

Where should you hang an Antibes poster?

  • Bedroom: a beige and pink palette, calm, above the headboard.
  • Living room: the old town seen from the sea in a large size, alone above the sofa.
  • Entrance: a vintage Riviera advertisement, setting the tone from the door.
  • Hallway: a series of three coastal towns, same size and same frame.
  • Bathroom: a cove on the Cap, a marine motif in a small room.

Tip: Mediterranean tones are soft. On a white wall a light oak frame warms them; a black frame cuts them out and makes them more graphic.

Antibes poster: town or seaside?

  • The town holds the architecture: ramparts, roofs, bell tower, a recognisable silhouette.
  • The seaside widens things: pines, rocks, clear water, with no identifiable building.
  • In an entrance, the town names the place straight away.
  • In a bedroom, the seaside settles the room and takes a large size without tiring.

Poster, print or picture: what is the difference?

All three words mean the same thing here: a printed image that you hang on the wall. We say poster because we print on fine art paper, not on canvas or metal.

  • With frame: black, white, oak or walnut, assembled and ready to hang.
  • Without frame: the sheet alone, to slide into the frame you already have.
