The Basque Country comes through here in three registers: vintage adverts with period typography, the Basque linen with its stripes and flat-coloured Basque cross, and the coast, between cliffs and the roll of the Belharra wave. Treatments range from travel poster style to graphic compositions in flat colour.
This is a region that works well in landscape orientation, because that's what sets it apart: the line of the corniche, the roll of the wave, the even flatness of the stripes. Wide formats suit it better than tight portraits.
The reds and greens of the Basque Country are bold, saturated colours. Our 220 g/m² art paper with a satin finish renders these flat blocks cleanly, without the glare of a glossy paper.
