Which Netherlands football poster should you choose?

Dutch football comes in several registers, and they do not tell the same story:

• Footballer poster: a portrait, an action in play, a name that marked a generation.
• Vintage football poster: a period orange shirt, a World Cup, a retro aesthetic.
• Stadium poster: stands, pitch, the fervour of a sold-out match.
• Holland poster: windmills, tulips and the orange shirt, Dutch identity as a knowing nod.
• Minimalist football poster: ball, goal, pitch line reduced to essentials.

The filters on the left narrow things down by dominant colour, by style and by mood.

Where should you hang football bedroom decor?

• Teenager's room: a player portrait in a large size, alone facing the bed.
• Living room: a stadium poster, for match evenings with friends.
• Office: a minimalist football poster, which does not overload the eye.
• Hallway: a series of two or three vintage posters, same size, same artist.
• Play corner: a colourful Netherlands poster, at a child's height.

Tip: orange often dominates the subject. On a wall already full of colour, prefer a poster in black and white or in muted tones.

Player poster or stadium poster?

• The player poster personalises: it puts forward a face, a career, one precise supporter.
• The stadium poster evokes a place and an atmosphere, without attaching itself to a name.
• In the room of a child or teenager who follows one player, the portrait works better.
• In a living room or a shared space, the stadium speaks to everyone, supporter or not.

Poster, print or picture: what is the difference?

All three words mean the same thing here: a printed image that you hang on the wall. We say poster because we print on photo paper, never on canvas. The same image is also available on a metal plate, in several sizes.

• Without frame: the sheet alone, to slide into the frame you already have.
