Posters basketball

A ball, a hoop and the momentum of a player are enough to tell the story of basketball. Our posters explore movement, courts and the gestures of this sport in personal compositions, printed to order on 270 gsm semi-matte photo paper in our Fayence workshop.

This collection has just opened. We are adding our first posters.

Choosing your basketball poster

Which basketball poster should you choose?

A basketball poster can show a spectacular move or focus on the geometry of the court. An action picture and a minimalist composition do not create the same effect in a room.

  • Basketball player poster: a jump, dribble or shot gives the body a direction and an energy that are immediately clear.
  • Basketball court print: parquet lines, hoop and backboard create a graphic, sometimes almost abstract drawing.
  • Urban basketball wall art: an outdoor hoop and its surroundings tell the story of informal play beyond the match.
  • Basketball print: texture and a spherical shape become a simple subject, easy to combine with other pictures.

The filters on the left let you choose style, colours and mood.

Where should you hang a basketball poster?

A game scene suits a teenager’s bedroom or a study. A court drawing also works in a contemporary living room, where its geometry responds to the furniture. In a space devoted to sport, a moving figure can become a focal point. An entrance is better suited to a very clear subject, such as an isolated hoop.

Tip: place an action picture on an uncluttered wall so that the player’s diagonal lines are not lost among several objects.

The energy of play or the lines of the court?

Basketball is expressed through the body as much as through space. A moving silhouette emphasises effort and speed; an empty court suggests anticipation, training and games to come. For a pair, combine these interpretations through a shared colour. The result is personal sporting decoration without depending on a team’s colours or the portrait of a famous player.

Poster, print or picture: what is the difference?

All three words mean the same thing here: a printed image that you hang on the wall. We say poster because we print on photo paper, never on canvas. The same image is also available on a metal plate, in several sizes.

  • With frame: black, white or light oak, assembled and ready to hang.
  • Without frame: the sheet alone, to slide into the frame you already have.
