Which hiking poster should you choose?
A hiking poster tells as much about the path as the destination. Depending on the framing, the walker becomes the main subject or a small landmark in a much wider landscape.
- Mountain trail poster: a rising line and successive slopes give the scene depth.
- Forest hiking print: trunks, foliage and filtered light create a more enveloping atmosphere.
- Walker wall art: a figure with a backpack evokes departure, progress and the pleasure of the journey.
- Vintage hiking poster: blocks of colour and simple shapes recall the graphic language of travel pictures.

Where should you hang a hiking poster?
In an entrance, a path guides the eye and complements movement through the home. In a study, an open horizon offers visual breathing space. A forest scene suits a bedroom or reading corner, especially in soft tones. The living room can welcome a broader landscape, with enough viewing distance to follow its different planes.
Tip: coordinate the height of the frame with neighbouring furniture rather than with the ridge line shown in the picture.
An invitation to set off, without a prescribed destination
Hiking decoration does not need to show a famous summit. A bend in a trail, an opening in the forest or a walking silhouette can recall deeply personal experiences. To arrange several frames, alternate a broad view with a detail of the path. The same shade of green, ochre or blue can connect them, while differences in framing keep the series from becoming repetitive.
Poster, print or picture: what is the difference?
All three words mean the same thing here: a printed image that you hang on the wall. We say poster because we print on photo paper, never on canvas. The same image is also available on a metal plate, in several sizes.
- With frame: black, white or light oak, assembled and ready to hang.
- Without frame: the sheet alone, to slide into the frame you already have.
