Réunion Island Posters
Réunion Island unfolds its mountainous cirques, its volcano and its tropical vegetation all the way to the lagoon. Three distinct moods emerge: the relief of ramparts and peaks, the intensity of the active volcano, and the contrast between wild coastlines and the lagoon. Printed to order in our workshop in Fayence, semi-matte 270 g photo paper.
This collection has just opened. We are adding our first posters.
Réunion Island poster: cirques, volcano and lagoon for a wall with relief
Which Réunion Island poster to choose?
Réunion Island lends itself to several graphic interpretations, from raw relief to tropical nuances. To guide your choice, here are a few concrete directions depending on the mood you're after:
- Mafate or Cilaos cirque poster, ramparts and steep-sided relief
- Piton de la Fournaise poster, volcano and lava flows
- Tropical vegetation poster, bois de couleurs forest and ferns
- Wild coast and basalt cliffs poster
- Lagoon and coral reef poster, turquoise waters and pale sand
The filters on the left let you refine by size, colour palette and orientation to find the rendering that suits your wall. A vertical crop emphasises the ramparts; a horizontal format leaves more room for the lagoon.
Where to hang a Réunion Island poster?
Each room calls for a different mood depending on the intensity of the chosen motif.
In the living room:
- A 70x100 size or a 100x140 polyptych for a mountainous cirque as a centrepiece
- A volcanic hue to match dark or mineral furniture
In a hallway or entryway:
- A 50x70 lagoon print for a luminous transition
- A series of 30x40 prints alternating relief and coastline
Tip: match the poster's dominant colour, deep greens, volcanic ochres or lagoon blues, to the tones already present in the room for instant cohesion.
Volcano or lagoon, which to choose?
The choice often comes down to two temperaments. The volcano and cirques bring character and a verticality that structures a wall, while the lagoon and coastlines create a calmer, brighter atmosphere. A living space geared towards relaxation will benefit from a 50x70 lagoon print, while a bold office or living room will better suit the relief of a cirque or volcano in a large format.
Poster, print or picture: what is the difference?
All three words mean the same thing here: a printed image that you hang on the wall. We say poster because we print on photo paper, never on canvas. The same image is also available on a metal plate, in several sizes.
- With frame: black, white or light oak, assembled and ready to hang.
- Without frame: the sheet alone, to slide into the frame you already have.
