Choosing your Zaragoza poster

Which Zaragoza poster should you choose?

Zaragoza comes in several registers, carried by quite distinct styles:

  • Vintage Zaragoza poster: retro-style travel poster, the Basilica of the Pilar in the foreground, period lettering.
  • Zaragoza map poster: a stylised city plan, districts and the meander of the Ebro.
  • Basilica of the Pilar poster: domes and bell towers, a front view or one from the stone bridge.
  • Minimalist Zaragoza poster: the city's silhouette reduced to a few flat blocks of colour.
  • Black and white Zaragoza poster: architectural photography, strong contrast on the stone.
  • Spain print: Zaragoza alongside the great Spanish cities, a warm, ochre palette.

Where should you hang a Zaragoza poster?

  • Portrait suits a vertical facade, the basilica's dome and bell towers.
  • Panoramic renders a view over the Ebro, the stone bridge and the roofline.
  • On a narrow wall, a portrait holds its place; on a wide wall, the panoramic carries the scene further.
  • A polyptych stretches an urban view across several frames, for a wall that commands the room.

Poster, print or picture: what is the difference?

All three words mean the same thing here: a printed image that you hang on the wall. We say poster because we print on photo paper, never on canvas. The same image is also available on a metal plate, in several sizes.

  • With frame: black, white or light oak, assembled and ready to hang.
  • Without frame: the sheet alone, to slide into the frame you already have.
