Zurich as seen by our artists: the tram along the lake, the reflections on the water and the facades of the old town. Each poster is a personal reading of travel, hand-printed on 270 gsm semi-matte photo paper in our workshop in Fayence.

Choosing your Zurich poster

Which Zurich poster should you choose?

  • Vintage Zurich poster: Swiss travel advertising, old-style typography, faded colours.
  • Minimalist Zurich poster: clean lines, flat colour blocks, the city's silhouette reduced to its essentials.
  • Zurich map poster: city plan, districts and streets, a precise graphic register.
  • Zurich skyline poster: urban silhouette at sunset or in black and white.
  • Limmat and Lake Zurich poster: water, quays, boats, a calmer, bluer register.

The filters on the left narrow things down by dominant colour, by style and by size.

Where should you hang a Zurich poster?

  • Living room: a skyline in a large size, alone above the sofa.
  • Office: a map of Zurich or a minimalist poster, understated next to the screen.
  • Entrance: a vintage poster, to set the tone from the threshold.
  • Bedroom: a view of the lake or the Limmat, in soft tones.

Zurich poster in colour or in black and white?

Black and white brings out the city's lines: façades, bridges, urban silhouette, and suits most interiors. Colour captures a precise mood, the blue of the lake or the light of a sunset over the skyline. On a wall already busy with colour, black and white calms the room. On a neutral wall, colour carries more of the place's identity.

Poster, print or picture: what is the difference?

All three words mean the same thing here: a printed image that you hang on the wall. We say poster because we print on photo paper, not on canvas or metal.

  • With frame: black, white, oak or walnut, assembled and ready to hang.
  • Without frame: the sheet alone, to slide into the frame you already have.
