Choosing your Liverpool poster
Which Liverpool poster should you choose?
Liverpool comes in several registers, and they do not tell the same city:
- Liver Building poster: the facade and its two birds, symbol of the Mersey waterfront.
- Albert Dock poster: red brick warehouses, cast iron columns, the water of the basin.
- Liverpool music poster: a Cavern feel, the sixties, period lettering.
- Liverpool map or city plan poster: the Mersey, the docks, the districts traced in line.
- Black and white Liverpool poster: brick, cranes, low sky, contrasts without colour.
- Liverpool football poster: club colours, the ground, a terrace feel.
The filters on the left narrow things down by dominant colour, by style and by mood.
Where should you hang a Liverpool poster?
- Living room: the Mersey waterfront in a large size, alone above the sofa.
- Office: a warehouse facade, geometric and calm beside the screen.
- Entrance: a map of Liverpool, to place the city from the door.
- Hallway: a series of three English cities, same size and same frame.
- Teenager's bedroom: a music or football poster, an owned taste on a pale wall.
Tip: red brick dulls on a beige wall. On a white or grey wall it keeps its density and does not turn brown.

- Culture holds the other Liverpool: music, the club, the spirit of the sixties.
- In a living space, architecture fits into any setting.
- In a bedroom or a personal office, culture owns a taste and says so.
Poster, print or picture: what is the difference?
All three words mean the same thing here: a printed image that you hang on the wall. We say poster because we print on photo paper, never on canvas. The same image is also available on a metal plate, in several sizes.
- With frame: black, white or light oak, assembled and ready to hang.
- Without frame: the sheet alone, to slide into the frame you already have.
