Metal posters

A metal poster gives your image a glossy finish on a rigid surface, without a frame or glass. Choose an illustration, landscape or graphic design, then a size that suits your wall. Each print is made to order in Fayence, France, and displayed with a magnetic wall fixing.

Choosing your metal poster

A metal print without a frame

A metal poster is an image printed on a rigid plate. Its glossy finish catches the light and displays the design right to the edges, without moulding or glass. In our Fayence workshop, the image is transferred using a heat press. Lighting affects the result: a window opposite the picture may create reflections. Look at the wall at different times of day before choosing a position where the image remains comfortable to view.

Which size should you choose?

Metal prints come in 15x20, 20x30 and 30x40 cm in portrait orientation. For landscape images, the dimensions are reversed: 20x15, 30x20 or 40x30 cm. A small print suits a wall shelf or an arrangement of several pictures. A larger plate gives details more room. Measure the available space and mark out the size with paper before ordering. Prices shown in this collection are for the metal version and depend on the size.

Magnetic hanging and wall choice

The fixing uses a magnetic wall sticker: the sticker stays on the wall and you can lift the plate off by hand. This lets you change the picture in the same position. Check that your surface is suitable and follow the fitting instructions. A dry, clean wall in good condition is essential. Removing the plate does not automatically remove the sticker. In a kitchen or bathroom, choose a spot away from water splashes and direct heat.

Glossy metal or a paper poster?

Choose metal for a rigid object without a frame and with a glossy surface. Semi-matt 270 gsm photographic paper suits those who prefer fewer reflections and a choice of frame finishes. Compare the same picture on both: you can then judge the material rather than two different compositions. A decorative metal print is not a waterproof wall covering. Position still matters, even in a humid room. Available sizes and options depend on the material selected.

Decoration that feels like you

A landscape opens up a view; a botanical illustration complements plants; abstract shapes echo the colours of furniture. Start with an image you like, then consider its contrast and legibility at the intended size. You can combine several plates with regular spaces between them. Each product page shows the available sizes and their prices. Check orientation, dimensions and delivery information before confirming your order.
