Posters climbing

A rock face, a hold and a moving body: climbing creates images of lines and balance. Our posters offer personal interpretations between rocky landscape and sporting gesture, printed to order on 270 gsm semi-matte photo paper in our workshop in Fayence.

This collection has just opened. We are adding our first posters.

Choosing your climbing poster

Which climbing poster should you choose?

A climbing poster can show the size of the rock face or concentrate on a single move. The climber’s place in the picture changes the impression of effort, space and height.

  • Climber poster: a silhouette and its points of contact create a composition centred on tension in the body.
  • Bouldering print: rock, holds and a short movement allow a close scene rich in texture.
  • Big-wall climbing art: the small scale of the figure emphasises the breadth of the rocky landscape.
  • Graphic climbing poster: simplified planes and bold colours turn climbing into a clear drawing.

The filters on the left narrow your choice by dominant colour, style and mood.

Where should you hang a climbing poster?

A large rock face suits the living room, where distance allows you to read the landscape. In a study, a climber’s movement brings focused energy without multiplying details. A bedroom can welcome softly coloured rock, while a training space can carry a more contrasting image. Vertical formats naturally complement subjects built around height.

Tip: keep a visible distance between the top of the frame and the ceiling; the sense of upward movement will remain more pleasant.

The sporting gesture or the texture of rock?

The gesture draws attention straight to the body and its points of support. Rock offers a slower reading of volumes, cracks and shadows. These approaches can form a pair if they share a palette. For an understated interior, a rocky landscape and a discreet silhouette evoke climbing without turning the entire room into a sports space. Choose the picture for its balance as much as for the discipline it represents.

Poster, print or picture: what is the difference?

All three words mean the same thing here: a printed image that you hang on the wall. We say poster because we print on photo paper, never on canvas. The same image is also available on a metal plate, in several sizes.

  • With frame: black, white or light oak, assembled and ready to hang.
  • Without frame: the sheet alone, to slide into the frame you already have.
