Turtle as seen by our artists: the shells seen from above, in flat colour and as naturalist plates. Each poster is a personal reading of the animal world, hand-printed on 270 gsm art paper with a semi-matte finish in our workshop in Fayence.

Choosing your turtle poster

Which turtle poster should you choose?

The subject covers two quite distinct worlds, carried by opposite styles:

  • Ninja turtle poster: the four green shells in full action, for a wall that owns pop culture.
  • 1990 ninja turtle poster: the typography and saturated colours of the original film poster.
  • Ninja turtle movie poster: wide shot and marked shadows, in the spirit of a film poster.
  • Sea turtle poster: swimming in open turquoise water, detailed shell, marine register.
  • Land turtle illustration: naturalist line, earth and green tones, botanical register.

The filters on the left narrow things down by dominant colour, by style and by mood.

Where should you hang a turtle poster?

  • Child's bedroom: a large-format ninja turtle, for a wall that tells a story.
  • Bathroom: a sea turtle, the room where the marine subject fits best.
  • Living room: a wide format above the sofa, as an illustration or in black and white.
  • Office: a land turtle illustration, understated next to the screen.
  • Entrance: a ninja turtle poster as a nod, to set the tone from the doorway.

Ninja turtle poster: vintage reproduction or contemporary creation?

  • A 1990 vintage reproduction takes up the original film poster, typography and framing included.
  • A contemporary creation reinterprets the four shells in a more graphic style, with a tighter palette.
  • The vintage version suits a bedroom or a gaming corner that plays nostalgia openly.
  • The contemporary style suits a living room better, where the poster needs to hold its own against an already busy wall.

Poster, print or picture: what is the difference?

All three words mean the same thing here: a printed image that you hang on the wall. We say poster because we print on photo paper, not on canvas or metal.

  • With frame: black, white, oak or walnut, assembled and ready to hang.
  • Without frame: the sheet alone, to slide into the frame you already have.
