The meadow bouquet

A bouquet of meadow flowers spills from a pale vase set on a table, its fine stems shooting in every direction, loaded with white corollas and a few blue and mauve touches. The vase catches blue reflections that echo the bowl beside it, decorated the same way. A white cloth falls to the left in thick folds. Everything is painted with the knife, in frank impasto: the matter carries the light rather than the drawing, and the background is only a wall suggested by passages of cream and blue.

A painting, botanical in feel, on the theme of flowers. Mainly beige, blue and white, lifted with grey and green. It suits Scandinavian interiors. This poster works as wall art in a bedroom and in a living room.
